Kimono Connecté

‘Kimono connecté’ est une installation sonore crée suite à l’invitation de l’artiste japonaise Akané Yorita à repenser le Kimono. Kimono signifie « chose portée sur soi ». ‘Kimono connecté’ propose d’en faire une chose portée « hors de soi » transmetteuse et rassembleuse de traditions. La voix de l’artiste se fait l écho des chants traditionnels de l’artiste Akané Yorita et re-connecte ainsi leurs deux univers culturels et artistiques.

L’installation se trouve au Japon et fait partie désormais de la collection de l’artiste Japonaise.

 ‘Kimono connecté’ is a sound installation created following the invitation of the Japanese artist Akané Yorita to rethink the Kimono. Kimono means « thing worn on oneself ». ‘Connected Kimono’ proposes to make it something worn « outside oneself » transmitting and unifying traditions. The voice of the artist echoes the traditional songs of the artist Akané Yorita and thus reconnects their two cultural and artistic universes.

The installation is located in Japan and is now part of the collection of the Japanese artist.
